Les Poochs FAQ

Is the single or wide size brush better for my dog?

We recommend wide for dogs 40 lbs. and up as it covers more area and can cut brushing time in half, but you can use whichever size you prefer. Some owners of larger dogs prefer the single brush because it is easier to get into certain areas like behind the ears.

How do you use the Les Pooch everyday and dog shedding brushes?

Take long or short strokes from neck to midway or tail. You can apply firm pressure to remove hair without hurting your dog because of the therapeutically rounded bristles and the flexible head. You can also hold the coat up in areas and section brush, which is especially effective when deshedding.

How do you use Les Poochs Shampoo concentrates?

All Les Poochs shampoos and creme rinses are concentrates, meaning they are intended to be diluted with bath water. Each formula will have it’s own dilution ratio, which will be shown as the amount of water relative to the amount of concentrate. For example, a 4:1 dilution means 4 parts of water for every 1 part of concentrate. Specific dilution ratios can be found on each product page. You should only dilute as much concentrate as you need for that bathing session – do not dilute the whole bottle at once.

Which fragrances share a scent with the shampoos and conditioners ?

Some shampoos and conditioners use the same exact scent as one of the Les Poochs fragrances. For more information about our recommended shampoo and fragrance pairings, see the “Pairs Well With…” section on the product pages.
